Karina has an experienced track record as an ecosystem builder, mentor, and program manager.Throughout her time at the California Maritime Academy, Karina pursued many leadership roles, including sports management, resident assistant, and student government. Within these roles, this helped her obtain the skill set of helping people from different backgrounds, find the resources they needed at the Academy in order to be successful.
In her current role as the Program Manager for the Tacoma Maritime Innovation Incubator, Karina helps entrepreneurs specifically within the maritime, trade, logistics, or sustainability space scale and find the resources necessary to scale.

Washington Maritime Blue thrilled to host our first showcase for the Tacoma Maritime Innovation Incubator. These four companies have spent the last year in Tacoma, obtaining mentorship from our steering committee, building and scaling their businesses, and connecting with our Maritime Blue Ecosystem as well as the local Tacoma/Pierce County Communities.
